Regional League vs Palmers Green Match Report, 29.11.08

Cumberland A squad has had a successful November winning back to back matches in the London POLY invitational league (Division 1) and the London and South East Regional League.

On Saturday Cumberland faced a physical Palmers Green side in the London and South East regional league. Cumberland, who are currently joint top of the league table, went into the match with a new team combination due to injuries and absences in the side.

Player of the match Petra Keogh switched from her usual position as centre to play goal shooter and with a 90% accuracy rate asserted her authority in the circle against some tight defending from her opponent.

The whole team pulled together and worked hard throughout the court to storm to a 73-41 victory.

Cumberland takes on Telstars at 12pm this coming Saturday (6th December) at Redbridge Sports Centre in Essex in the South East Regional League.
