Big Weekend for Cumberland
This has been another big weekend for Cumberland, with some massive successes and a lot of celebrating.
After more than a season of really hard work, the A team on Saturday convincingly beat the opposition in a round-robin play-off, to win entry into the REGIONAL LEAGUE for next season. This is a huge success for the team, and for the club as a whole. Congratulations to Kelly, George and the girls, to Tony their coach and to all of those who have helped make Cumberland such a great club to be a part of.

Some of the A team also managed to drag themselves out of bed on Sunday to join other members of the club taking part in Race for Life in Hampstead, raising money for Cancer Research. One of our own, Claire Risk from the B team, actually came in 1st out of around 3000 people! It was a sprint race at the finish, as she fought off fierce competition from Superwoman no less. We also managed to raise over £600 between us, and the money is still coming in.

Look forward to even more from Cumberland Netball joining in and supporting these fun events...
